Sean Witucki Works

Sean Witucki

Buffalo, NY

A self taught painter growing up on the edge of the Berkshire Mountains in Monson Massachusetts, Sean was surrounded by the beauty and history of this great country.  This is where the foundation of his work began.  It was while wondering the woods one day that Sean came upon some very large rock formations.  On these boulders were carvings from the native people that inhabited the area long ago.  The people that left these carvings struck a chord that has never left him.  The history of Native Americans, the western frontier as well as our modern day interpretations of the west play a major role in Seans work.  Using a highly refined and detailed approach his still lives bring a great sense of reality to the viewer.

Sean reflects on his painting as an exploration in finding who he is as a man under the will of God, as well as a resource to continuously research and educate himself on the subjects he is passionate about.

“I feel that the Lord put man on this earth to share in all his splendor and beauty. I am blessed, that by Gods Grace, He has chosen to give the gift of seeing, understanding and appreciating that beauty and sentiment to me, just a regular man.  Through Him, I try to relate this in my work.”

Sean currently resides in Western NY with his wife and two children.
